NCFE CACHE Qualifications



NCFE CACHE is the leading awarding body in children’s care and education in the UK. A government registered charity under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. CACHE is dedicated to raising the standards of educational experiences for the early years sector. Through high quality courses developed with UK regulatory bodies, rigorously moderated and updated CACHE courses are recognised worldwide. Courses are taught on over 1500 colleges in the UK and Internationally. All teaching courses run by Prima Edu are fully accredited by CACHE and students are awarded a CACHE certificate on successful completion of the course. NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner



Lies in the introductory level for the Early Years Educator Programme, is CACHE level 2 that is especially designed for students willing to start a career as Early Years Practioner or simply graduate as a Teacher Assistant. The qualification is structured into the following four themes:

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)



This level is the main catalyst for the Early Years Educator who is seeking to work on a professional capacity with children. You will combine your practical knowledge and skills in ways that reflects directly on your work with the young age (from birth to 8 years). Upon achievement of this qualification it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators. As the leading Awarding Organisation in the sector, CACHE has surpassed the minimum requirements set out in the National College of Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) criteria to develop a gold standard qualification which reflects the priorities of practitioners and employers to meet the needs of young children. NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services



Propel your career to new heights with this diploma. CACHE Level 5 equips you with the skills and knowledg to manage practices and lead others in child and young people services or adult health and social care settings. This qualification has six pathways and covers a wide range of topics including:

NCFE CACHE Level 4 Award in Special Educational Needs and Disability (Send) Leadership and Management in the Early Years



The qualification is designed for those already working in a lead SENCO role as an Early Years practitioner and who wish to increase confidence in relation to leadership and management progression. Learners will be prepared for leadership and management in specific aspects of the SENCO role including:


  • enabling best outcomes for children and their families
  • enriching professional development
